At this event, students in grades 1-8 go to a series of stations where they collect rock specimens and learn about a variety of topics, including:
There will be demonstrations, games and interesting facts about rocks and minerals. Everyone goes at their own pace to each station in the order they choose.
Participation is limited to a first come first served basis so please sign up early! Advanced payment of $5.00 for each child will guarantee your reserved spot for the special event. Registration is limited so that we may be sure of having enough specimens for all of the students.
